Andhra Government launched online system for approving real estate buildings. The developers’ Apex body- CREDAI remarked it as real- estate-reformation.
Single window system for building plan applications will accelerate the completion of real estate projects. Real estate projects will be delivered in time as it can avoid the red-tapism and corrupted officials who stand as blocks for timely deliveries.
CREDAI had earlier demanded for similar real estate reforms. Pointing to the builders’ difficulty in delivering the projects in time the apex body had requested the Center and other state governments for launching some reforms similar to it.
Delay in getting the approval is pointed as one of the main reasons for this undesirable delay. It is estimated that a real estate builder approaches nearly 40 officials for completing a project.
Easier online approvals can even affect or reduce prices. Real estate builders are forced to pay high amount of bribe to the corrupt officials.
When online approval systems are put into practice these builders can avoid corruption and save greater amounts of money. In turn the builders can offer more grants to the buyers. So both buyers as well as the developers will benefit out of such modern systems.
Highly upholding the Andhra Pradesh government’s decision to launch online approval system, CREDAI’s Mr. Jain said that this will bring drastic changes in the real estate. Firstly it will cast away all sorts of delays. Further it positively affects the cost.
He expressed his hope that with this faster approval system the real estate builders will turn to be more successful in sorting out housing troubles.
Meanwhile the apex body did not forget to pull off the central and other state governments who have not taken any positive measures to speed up building approvals. CREDAI highly appreciated this movement of the AP Government and said it should be considered as a good model and example which all other states and the central government should follow.
