NH 24 has finally got the approval of the Authority for widening. It will be boosting the real estate sectors of both Noida and Ghaziabad.
The real estate players of Noida and Ghaziabad will be happier all the more. Those who have projects on the NH 24 corridor will be reaping a windfall this time. On the other end, those who do not have projects along this corridor will be doing nothing other than blaming themselves.
Yes, it will really be like a windfall for those who have upcoming projects in the NH 24 corridor. As the Authority has passed the plan for its widening, the property prices will rise in these areas.
Apart from the property price hike in Noida and Ghaziabad, other areas like Crossings Republik, Electronic City Noida, Indirapuram, Kaushambhi, Vaishali and Vasundhara also will witness a hike in the property prices.
The residents of the area will be able to reach Ghaziabad faster as NH 24 widening will take away the traffic. It will surely reduce the traffic.
As the first part of the widening, the NH 24 stretch from UP Gate to Akshardham will be made into eight lines. Widening of this stretch has almost been completed.
Under the new plan, UP gate – Dasna stretch will be widened. It will help the residents to reach Ghaziabad faster and smoother. Traffic jams for long hours is often normal in the narrow parts. Though the road is wide enough in the beginning areas, as it comes close to Ghaziabad, it gets narrower.
Besides widening, a few under-passes also will be built. This too will reduce the traffic. The Authority expects to maintain the flow of traffic by developing these under-passes.
NH 24 is the main connecting road. The residents of Indirapuram, Kaushambhi, Vaishali and Vasundhara use this road mainly. They have no other option than to wade through the slow moving traffic. However it seems that the builders will be happier than them on the prospect of gaining better returns and profits.
