Leaving her dream to own a sea-facing home, Katrina Kaif finally decided to renovate her apartment in Bandra.
Katrina Kaif was unhappy with the performance of her apartment in Bandra as it had various problems like water leaking and so on. Further her dream was to own a sea –facing home. However she could not find any sea-facing home even after searching for a good while.
She is reported to have seen many for-sale-tagged homes in and around Mumbai. None of them has really impressed her. Being tired of home-hunt, she finally decided to renovate her apartment located at Guldev Sagar on Waterfield Road.
Commenting on her renovation plan, Katrina Kaif said that her apartment would be entirely renovated. The renovation will be done entirely including its floors, paintings and interiors.
Even the upholstery in Katrina Kaif’s apartment will be renovated. It means it will be nothing short of a new home.
Earlier she had planned to build a bungalow in Juhu. As its neighborhood is not up to the standards; its neighborhood areas face many water related problems, Katrina Kaif left this plan too.
When asked about the decision to skip her new home plans, Bollywood throb said that she was busy doing a good number of movies like Dhoom 3.
Soni Tanna, an interior designer and a family friend of Katrina, is entrusted the renovation task. Katrina said she knows him for the past six years.
Everyone expected the Bollywood Actress to own a new home. However this expectation has come to vain as she finally decided to renovate her old apartment.
Though she says that she has no time to spend for searching homes, the people still believe that she decided to renovate her apartment as none of the homes could impress her rightly or were up to the expectations of her.
